1.PRE-PRIMARY LEVEL CURIO CURRICULUM

We provide the CURIO curriculum since it is organised and especially created to gently nurture our children. It enhances their innate abilities by satisfying their drive to learn and ponder. The challenges and goals of each activity assist us to keep pupils interested in their studies. The information is helpful in completing the work successfully.

2. AT THE PRIMARY AND MIDDLE LEVEL

Academic excellence as well as the development of communication, organisational, and analytical skills are taught to students. Every year, curriculum is updated to stay current with changes in the CBSE syllabus and modern technology. Every effort is made to ensure that the pupils learn how to speak and write English effectively.

EXAMINATION

Each student receives a report, and the parent will be informed of the outcome in the report card. Parents are reminded that grades are determined based on the entire year’s worth of work, not just the results of the term exams. Children must consequently work consistently throughout the year. No class places will be given out, but everyone whose performance merits praise will receive the due credit.

Assessment –I TO V

Monthly review tests are given for classes I to V. The review tests consist of four cycles. After the first cycle is over and the second one starts, there is often a 15 day gap.

Students are expected to show up for all exams on time. Before the test starts, a doctor’s note will be needed in cases of absence and illness. In these situations, a student’s promotion will be determined on the average of the remaining three review tests for students in class I and the remaining four review tests for students in classes II to V.

There will be more opportunities to evaluate the youngster in addition to these periodic tests. The class response, assignments, projects, and informal tests will all be present. The detailed components of the scheme are enclosed here

Assessment –VI onwards

For classes VI onwards NCERT Syllabus and CBSE prescribed assessment structure, examination pattern and report cards structure are followed.

The assessment structure and examination for classes VI TO VIII comprise of two terms Term-1(100 marks) 20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks for half yearly Exam and Term -2(100 marks) 20 marks Periodic Assessment + 80 marks for yearly exam.

The following standards are carefully followed for advancement to the next class:

  • A minimum of 75% attendance
  • A minimum of 40% marks in each subject in the school’s periodical and the annual exams.
