Training in leadership
HOUSE SYSTEM
To foster a spirit of healthy competition, and collaborative learning, the school implements a structured House System. This framework serves as the primary platform for students to showcase their talents and transition into proactive leaders. Upon enrollment, every student is indexed into one of four houses, each representing distinct institutional values:
Bandhu color : Yellow
Daksha color : Red
Dharma color : Green
Siddha color : Blue
Competitive Framework
The school calendar is punctuated with Inter-House Competitions spanning academic, cultural, and athletic domains. Points are awarded based on merit, following predefined criteria communicated to students well in advance. The cumulative performance of a House culminates in the prestigious “House of the Year” trophy, presented during the Annual Sports Meet.
The Student Council (Cabinet)
At PIET, we believe in a participatory model of governance. To ensure representation across all age groups and to streamline administrative responsibilities, the school appoints a formal Student Council, divided into two tiers:
- Senior Cabinet
- Junior Cabinet
Leadership Hierarchy
To ensure a systematic delegation of duties, each House is led by a dedicated student leadership team:
- House Captain: Exercises overall command of the house.
- Vice-Captain: Assists in strategic planning and replaces the Captain in their absence.
- Sports Captain: Specifically oversees athletic participation and physical fitness initiatives.
