Age and Eligibility
5 questions
1. My child turns 3 next year. Which class should we apply for?
It depends on the date of birth. For the 2027-28 session, ages are counted as on 31 March 2027. Here’s the quick guide:
- Play School: 2 years and above
- Pre Nursery: 3 years and above
- Nursery: 4 years and above
- KG: 5 years and above
- Class 1: 6 years and above (born on or before 31 March 2021)
The full chart is on our Age Criteria page.
2. Why is the Class 1 age 6 years now?
The Haryana government has made 6 years the minimum age for Class 1 in every school in the state, in line with NEP 2020. It applies to all boards, so it’s the same rule whichever school you choose.
3. Can my child join in the middle of the session?
Yes, if there’s a seat in that class. You’ll need the transfer certificate and latest report card from the current school. Moving to Panipat on a job transfer? Call us before you move and we’ll tell you what’s open.
4. Can my child take admission in Class 9?
Yes. Any student who has passed Class 8 from a CBSE school or any other recognised board can apply for Class 9, subject to seats and a short assessment.
5. What about Class 10?
CBSE treats Class 9 and 10 as one two year course, so fresh admission in Class 10 is allowed only in special cases, such as a parent’s transfer or the family relocating to Panipat. The previous school’s transfer certificate is a must.
Applying and the Campus Visit!
7 questions
6. How do we start the admission process?
Three easy ways: fill the enquiry form on this website, call the admission desk, or just walk in. We’ll share the registration form, the fee details and a list of documents, and fix a day for your visit. Each step is explained on our Admission Procedure page.
7. Can we see the school before we decide?
Please do. Walk through the classrooms, peek into the labs and talk to our teachers. We’d like both parents to come if possible. Book a campus visit at a time that works for you, or take the 3D virtual tour from your phone tonight.
8. What happens at the parent interaction?
After the campus tour, we sit down with each family for about 30 minutes. We want to know your child, and you get time to ask us anything.
9. Is there an entrance test for Class 1?
For Play School, Nursery and KG there’s no test at all. Our teachers spend a little time with your child through play and conversation.
10. Is there a test for Class 2 and above?
Yes, a short written assessment based on the previous class. It isn’t a pass or fail exam. It simply shows us where your child stands so teachers can help from the first week.
11. Which documents should we keep ready?
Usually the child’s birth certificate, Aadhaar cards of the child and parents, passport size photos and address proof. For Class 2 onwards, add the transfer certificate and last report card. Check the final list on our Documents Required page.
12. When do admissions for 2027-28 open?
Registrations open on 15th November 2026. Nursery and KG seats tend to fill first, so families usually apply between November and February. The new session starts on 1st April 2027.
