We follow progressive educational techniques at PIET Sanskriti Ansals School and are gradually transitioning to a less compartmentalised method of instruction. For our Classes I and II, the “no homework” policy has been the default approach and is being actively implemented. We work to instil a scientific temperament, a spirit of inquiry, the capacity for collaboration, and the capacity to consider many points of view. Every child has the right to a carefree, joyful childhood since this sets them up for a more fulfilling life. Therefore, we want students to participate in sports more, pick up hobbies, or just have fun.
We firmly believe in giving kids the chance to engage in more productive pursuits, such as reading for pleasure, spending time with friends and family, and learning extracurricular skills. These have a wide range of advantages that many people can’t immediately recognise. Instead of giving students homework, we now use project-based learning strategies that involve experiential units that give students real-world, hands-on learning opportunities. Science, humanities, social sciences, art, literature, poetry, and music are all taught as integrated units that incorporate classroom activities, tales, and real-world situations. Students apply their learning to real-world situations and take charge of their own education.
