Our children enacted play from their Hindi text book. Almost the entire class participated. The plays were unique and had something to teach the students. It emphasized on the importance of helping mothers at home. The women of our houses work day and night to feed the family in the best way possible but the children, never care to help their elder sisters or mothers.

World Food Day 2019 – A Nutritious Milkshake Recipe was told to kids to stop the intake of artificial protein drinks. The Milkshake Powder was made from simple ingredients – which are easy to find in one’s household. These ingredients include cardamom, almonds, black pepper corns, rose petals etc.

A Special Assembly was organized in lieu of International Day for Girl Child. Our little girls presented a beautiful dance routine representing the tortures inflicted upon girls by our society. They represented various issues such as female infanticide, dowry etc. At the end, the assembly concluded with a song performance by our girls in which they sung the tyrannies of the subdued gender.

On the occasion of World Post Day, our beloved kids wrote letters to their caring moms and posted them. The event was held to keep the spirit of posting letters alive. It was interesting to watch that the kids had so much to write in their individual letters. They appreciated their moms’ unflinching spirit and dedication towards household chores.

Dussehra Celebrations 2019

Our art teachers designed special Ravana statue which was burnt to celebrate the victory of good against evil. Our pre-primary kids adorned attires of the famous characters of Ramayana- Sita, Ram, Lakshmana, Ravana, Hanuman etc. They looked gorgeous in those silk robes. To conclude the event , our kids were told the stories of Rama and Ravana , to imbibe in them the values of following the righteous path.

Dandiya Night is a joint event of both our schools that takes place annually. Kids from both the school come up with various dance routines and also perform Garbha. Our esteemed parents also participate in this event as they dance on the tunes of Garbha. This event falls in Navratras. The event starts with the worship of Goddess Durga. After which, the kids and parents sway on the tunes and perform Dandiya Dance.

Mata Ki Chowki was organized by our pre-primary wing. Our little girls came dressed up as goddess Durga. They presented a mesmerizing show of the famous battle between Goddess Durga and Mahishasur. After the drama, our teachers sang songs dedicated to the goddess in their melodious voices.

Bhutan Exchange Program took place from 25th to 29th September. Some of our kids went to Bhutan to gain international exposure. They got a chance to visit the famous PELKHIL SCHOOL in Thimphu, Bhutan. Our kids performed their and also appreciated when they witnessed their traditional arts forms and culture. They went to multiple cities such as Thimphu and Punakha.

Our activity in-charge arranged a special class on the importance of peace in today’s world order. It is imperative for our coming generation to understand the importance of peace in the today’s time where every nation is well equipped with nuclear bombs. It is easy to fight as it takes a minute to press a button for nuclear missile. However, it can be extremely challenging and can take years of hard work to prevail peace in a notorious society.
